gm gm,
This week has been a rollercoaster for so many of our friends in the tech and nonprofit worlds, thanks to the Silicon Valley Bank collapse and subsequent uncertainty. While we’re grateful the Fed stepped in, it’s clear that the financial sytem as-is isn’t working. Something needs to change. Could the decentralized, transparent blockchain ecosystem be the solution? Of course, we know it’s not that black-and-white, but we do believe it’s absolutely worth continuing to build and explore.
In the meantime, good things are already happening in Web3 every day, especially this week. GoodDollar is live on Celo, DAO Drops is now allocating public goods funding retroactively, and even Sesame Street is getting into NFTs to further their mission. It’s all in this week’s edition of Web3ForGood — plus so much more.
