π 57/This Week in Web3ForGood
WEF Whitepaper, Gitcoin dates, Polygon Labs database, Sam at SBS!!
gm gm,
It has been an exciting week in so many ways!
To start off, World Economic Forum released a whitepaper on, βGuidelines for Improving Blockchainβs Environmental, Social and Economic Impactβ which crafts valuable insights and a comprehensive roadmap to unlock the true potential of blockchain technology. This is an essential resource for companies, regulators, and start-ups looking to make a positive impact and transform the industry.
Along with this, Gitcoin announced the dates of its beta round (April 25 - May 9), and Polygon Labs has started a database collecting various use cases across a number of verticals (and across any and all networks!), that they plan to make it public for anyone to use and consult.Β
Over this week, Web3 enthusiasts descended upon NYC for NFT NYC (we know itβs all about side events π), and in Boston for the Sustainable Blockchain Summit. Our very own, Sam presented at SBS(!!) and will be sharing more about her experience next week!
Also expect some announcements from us in the coming weeksβ¦
