A lot happened/is happening this week -- Consensus, ReFi House, the World Economic Forum blockchain climate action report, and of course, the thing that really has the Web3 social impact world buzzing: the Gitcoin Grants Beta Round.
For the first time ever, Web3ForGood is participating. Yes! We are a part of the Community and Education Round, which features a 200,000 DAI matching pool. So what does that mean for us? For the next ~10 days, we’ll be attempting to collect donations from as many people as we can. Since Gitcoin Grants leverages a Quadratic Funding distribution method, the number of donations actually matters even more than the amount. Donating just $1 will have serious impact, because the more people who donate (any amount), the more funding we are eligible to receive from the matching pool.
