As the death toll rises and the number of those impacted by the earthquake in Türkiye and Syria continues to grow, we want to once again draw attention to where you can donate to support non-profits and aid workers in their relief efforts. In this list put together by the Giving Block, you can:

• Pick a charity or donate directly to all* using the donation form

• Select what cryptocurrency you would like to donate

• Enter the amount you plan to give

• Choose whether to donate anonymously or input your information such as name and address (sharing this info is optional)

• Enter your email if you wish to receive a gift acknowledgment for tax purposes

• Confirm your donation

We appreciate the Giving Block for making the process to get aid to those who might need it most right now as simple as they have.

We also want to highlight Mercy Corps Ventures announcement this week; the Crypto for Good Fund II offers $1 million in grant funding to pilot scalable blockchain solutions that can drive financial inclusion and climate resilience in emerging markets. With equity-free grants of up to $100,000 to ten eligible startups, MCV will also provide mentorship, impact measurement advisory, access to partnership opportunities, knowledge exchange, and brand exposure. Highly recommended, especially for projects from the Global South!
