At the end of last year, we ran an experiment: we handed the mic to members of our community and published a series of guest posts reflecting on the year in Web3ForGood. The results were some of our most thoughtful, interesting, and most loved pieces to date. (Read them here: Drew and Tereza at Crypto Altruism, Aliya and Vivek from Kernel, Coleen from The Solar Foundation).

This summer, we want to bring the guest series back, and we’d love to invite some new faces to be a part of it. This is an open invitation.

If you’re working on something cool, thinking about big ideas, or just thinking a lot about how Web3 can be used for good, we’d love to hear from YOU. You don’t need to pitch anything or even be a great writer (we’re here for that). Just reply to this email or send us a DM and tell us what you’re up to, and let’s talk more.

We wrote this to introduce the guest series last year, and still believe it: “Whenever we find ourselves talking about what Web3ForGood is, we always come back to one core idea: this is a community space. It’s about you, your work, your ideas, and your curiosity.”

We’re excited to continue to explore how to make this even more of a community space with your support.

  • After scaling SadaPay to millions of users and billions in payments, Brandon Timinsky stepped down as CEO—only to return with a new mission: solving inflation in the global south using stablecoins. His new venture ZAR is building a cash-to-stablecoin bridge through local agent networks—think corner shops, bodegas, kiryanas—enabling access to digital dollars where it’s needed most. Why? Because inflation isn’t 5%—it’s 30%, 50%, even 100%+ across many emerging markets. First stop: Pakistan, where crypto-friendly policy is gaining ground. • 🐝 EU digital product passports won’t solve food fraud, but blockchain could.

  • 96% of imported honey in the UK is fake. Tests flagged 24 of 25 jars. The EU’s solution—digital passports—falls short. Fraudsters game the system with fake certificates and intermediaries. The real fix? Self-sovereign identity: cryptographic product credentials that verify origin, prevent tampering, and restore trust across global supply chains. Honey deserves better. So do we. This isn’t random—318 proposals poured in from their AI for Climate Resilience call. Nearly half focused on agriculture, with a clear trend: AI tools that deliver real-time insights, smarter farm management, and better decision-making for those on the frontlines of the climate crisis.
